Understanding before distance
Language should not stand between a reader and the meaning of a prayer. We aim to help people who read different languages engage with Hebrew and English prayers and Hebrew Torah passages.
A translated passage can support personal reading, a family conversation or a shared community study. It should invite readers to explore the original, not replace it.
Sharing with care
We want translations to travel beyond a screen. Printable PDFs, images and the public library let readers share a passage with others. The return link and QR code on saved translations keep the connection to the app visible.
Responsible sharing means respecting the rights of authors and publishers, protecting personal information and checking a translation before circulating it.
A living dedication
This app carries the name אור החיים הקדוש and the dedication Lealu Nishmat Eliyahu Ben Jamila ZTL.
אליהו בזבז בן גמילה זצל
The dedication appears on the translators and saved prayer and Torah translations.
Help us make reading clearer
Readers who know the original language can help identify unclear wording and translation errors. Join the team to express interest in contributing, or send feedback about a passage.
