Prayer across languages
Tefillah Translate is an AI-assisted prayer translation app. You can upload a document, photo, scan, PDF or text file, or paste a prayer in Hebrew or English. Choose your language to receive a translation you can read, download and share.
Our purpose is simple: make the meaning of a prayer more accessible when its original language is unfamiliar.
From Hebrew text to a shared reading
The app offers 25 languages, including English, Hebrew, Spanish, French, Russian, Yiddish and Arabic. Our Torah Translator also accepts Hebrew Torah passages for translation.
Translations can be downloaded as PDFs or images. Saved files include the website, a scannable return link and the dedication, so readers of a printed or shared copy can find their way back.
A library for the community
You can save a prayer or Torah translation to the Public Library with or without an account. Other readers can view it, download it and share it. Signing in lets you associate saved translations with your account.
Saving to the library makes your translation public. Share only material you have permission to publish, and keep personal or sensitive information out of public entries.
Respect for the original
AI can misread a scan or mistranslate a phrase. A translation is a reading aid, not a replacement for the original text, an authoritative edition or guidance from a qualified teacher. Review names, verses and important passages with a knowledgeable reader.
